Annual horoscope 2015 / 2016 - Taurus

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the annual 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th May to 15th June or Taurus Ascendants and Moons

Hello Taurus, happy birthday. Are you feeling it? I hope so! Your solar year begins, as it often does with Mars, Mercury and of course the Sun in your sign, bringing a load of energy and determination to finally do what you had been planning to do for some time or even a long time. The difference this year is Saturn, the strict task master is in opposition and this can bring delays and obstacles with it but if you are wise and mature enough, it brings the necessary patience to let things grow at the pace they need to. For many Taureans, relationships are the principal concern and focus these days and Saturn in your opposite sign wants to make sure, you take it easy and build a solid and equal partnership that is based on mutual respect. In particular now, as your new solar year begins, you’ll feel some of the frustration Saturn can impose more clearly – temporarily. Relationships can feel like hard work now but this is a period where you and your partner – whether it’s a business or a romantic relationship - mature past the initial stages to form a long-lasting partnership that allows for readjustments, renegotiations and compromises.

For the time being and in particular at the beginning of your new solar be aware of the bubbling resentment – speak your mind and over the course of the year you’ll see slow and steady progress in turning a relationship around, even if that means you’ll decide to leave. Remember, this is not the time to absorb someone else’s stress, it’s a time to set boundaries and be clear about your needs and hopes for the future – whether that’s around children or about carving out more of your own creative space.

For another couple of months, you’ll have Jupiter on your side when it comes to relationship matters, enabling you to come up with the right words, or even just have the courage to do so. This is a great combination for all business partnerships and establishing your own creative sideline business.

After the summer and for the rest of the solar year, big changes are on the cards. Jupiter in your 4th house of home and where you live along with Rahu / the North node in your 5th house of children can mean a number of things. You need more space at home or you need to move because of, well, children, so there may be an addition to the family. Or because you need a garage you can convert into a studio, a meditation space, a gym or a place where you think, write and contemplate. Your home life will turn into a safe haven – but again, only after some initial disruption – the growing pains as I like to call these transits. So, if there is no part of you that wants to move at the moment or thinks this is something you will do over the next 12 months, you may be in for a surprise. Watch out for March 2016. Have a great year, Taurus!

30.4.15

May 2015 horoscope - Aries

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 14th April to 15th May or Aries Ascendants or Moons

Aries, the full Moon on 4th May in Libra is in the area of your chart to do with relationships and whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on. Although you don’t have any long-term transits affecting your partnerships at the moment, Saturn and Rahu / the North node on either side of your relationship zone keep the pressure going, only now you are in a much stronger position than you were this time last year. Boy, have you learnt some lessons and now you are ready to apply those learnings. Now, for some, this full Moon is also a period where you finish up a cycle to do with your home and with Jupiter, the planet of expansion in this area of your chart at the moment, you’ll finish up a refurbishment project, you finally get that contract on a new home signed or you finally decide to move. If the disruption and what happened at home was less pleasant and you had to deal with unforeseen repairs, then this too is coming to an end now. But most and foremost, early May has to do with relationships, agreements, balanced and committed partnerships and finding an emotional balance or emotional support from another. This is a time to unearth things, issues, even secrets in a relationship and face them head on. Although there is a chance that you’re involved with someone who you quite like but it’s probably not until later in the year when things get a little more serious.

This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Swati, ruled by Rahu. Swati is the ‘Great Breath’ and the wind. It’s related to thoughts and ideas, flexible thought processes and getting the word out. If you have something to say, do it now.  In particular, when it comes to (joint) finances where you seem to display considerable ambitions now - usually of the ‘having it all’ variety. For you, this, again, has to do with partnerships and it may be the other person who now provides some financial support to you or who provides a good deal of emotional support.

Then, the Sun, Mercury and Mars gather in Taurus and around the time of the new Moon on 18th May you’ll be firmly focused on money and income as well as joint resources and family money including inheritance and wills. With Saturn in the area of your chart to do with death and rebirth or on a less serious note, transformation, money from other people, i.e. family, could be on its way. If this is the case, even if not and you are dealing with banks, insurance companies etc., then do double-check your contracts and read the small print before you sign your life away – Mercury is retrograde and opposing Saturn so conversations with your bank manager, or those holding the money, won’t be easy nor very straight forward. Have a great month, Aries!

May 2015 horoscope - Taurus

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th May to 15th June or Taurus Ascendants and Moons

Taurus, let’s not beat around the bush, at worst, you’re exhausted from all the fighting against the odd, defending your corner and feeling like no one is hearing your point never mind trying to understand where you’re coming from. Even a patient soul like you has had enough at some point, especially around the time of the full Moon on 4th May which puts the spotlight on your stress levels! At best, you are simply really busy, trying to come to a compromise with the other person and in your romantic relationships. You are now at a point where you want to shake them and make them understand – good for you – but you’ll soon learn that whoever you are dealing with has to come to that conclusion by themselves. Around this time, whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – for you it has to do with house and home, where perhaps you have to sort through something that you’ve not been wanting to face for some time. Crucially it’s a time to find more of a mental balance.

And then it’s your birthday! Happy birthday Taurus! Venus in your area of income and possessions will make you want to spend some money on all those beautiful things, hit the sales if you have any where you are. However, this year, you may want to be careful around this time as Mercury, the planet that rules your income is retrograde and opposed by Saturn, the great taskmaster and the one who restricts and sobers us up. This in fact means that not only are relationships somewhat challenging, once you’ve finished your shopping spree, you may find yourself landed with a bill or an invoice of some sort.

The new Moon in your own sign may be a welcome step change although you may not notice it just yet. It’s a new beginning for yourself as well as your emotional wellbeing and strongly points at relationship matters. You want to sort through matters that have been boiling underneath the surface and be done with them once and for all. If you are single, then almost certainly, this is the time when someone new can enter your life, someone who sticks around for a while and with whom you have some karmic ties, i.e. unfinished business. Have a great month, Taurus!

May 2015 horoscope - Gemini

I follow the Vedic calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th June to 15th July or Gemini Ascendants and Moons

Gemini, with Venus in your sign and Jupiter helping you out with your finances, multiplying your income based on the many creative ideas, this is a beautiful month for you to simply be in your element. For the most part, you’re outgoing, fun and want to be around people, while the full Moon on 4th May is in the area of your chart to do with children, creativity, romance, fun, being yourself and to some extent, in the spotlight. It’s a time for creativity, writing, performing and, for some, all things around teaching and mentoring. In particular these days, there is a strong element of you spending time with family and around the house – a move or some other ‘disruption’ around the home is either in the post or has happened already earlier in the year but if that’s the case, you’ll still have to get to grips with it and sort stuff out. In any case, family business is what you’re dealing with around the time of the full Moon and whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on.

For you, the Moon is inherently connected to your finances but this one might mean you’ll need to spend on children, you’ll put your efforts into making money from your hobbies or together with friends, from writing, thoughts and ideas or from whatever you can create with your hands.

If you are single, the very early days in May are a period that, momentarily, put you in a very romantic mood – outgoing and flirtatious. As the month progresses, this ‘mood’ means you would perhaps quite like to spend some time by yourself, order your thoughts most importantly and get away from all the pressure at work (perhaps also at home), your hectic schedule and the large amounts of responsibility your daily life demands of you now – your health may suffer a little as a result as you try (and need to try) to get more balance and routine into your life.

Around the time of the new Moon on 18th May in Taurus, you may particularly feel the need to get away from it all as your ruler, Mercury, is going backwards and in an area of your chart that has to do with withdrawing from the world, meditation and spending some time by yourself. It’s a part in your chart where you are very intuitive, so listen to your dream, they could give you some guidance now - on the plus side, this could be exactly the moment when you financial situation for good or bad demands more of your attention. Aaah, what the heck, go get on that plane, you’ve had a hell of a year so far already! Have a great month, Gemini!

May 2015 horoscope - Cancer

I follow the Vedic calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th July to 15th August or Cancer Ascendants and Moons

Cancer, a lot of energy, time and resources is directed towards your hopes and dreams for the future this month, your friends, your wider network and associations and your wider family, your impact on the community and involvement within the community. This is a time to do some long-term planning for the future. Around the time of the full Moon on 4th May, you will be having a think and going within to figure out what those dreams are and how you can turn them into reality. On an external level, this period will be connected to your home life and what’s happening at work as well as with your income, so for some of you, this can also mean a house sale or purchase – perhaps you need a bigger one or expand your current home for various reasons. You still have Jupiter in your sign for another two months, so anything is possible. Think about what began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – an idea, a thought or a concept is coming to fruition.

For you, it very much has to do with finances, your financial position and potentially a bonus or a pay rise. It’s the time of the year for you to look into increasing your salary, your client base or make plans on how to achieve your financial ambitions. Once Jupiter moves into Leo in July, you’ll certainly see the results of plans you make or continue to work on now.

The new Moon on 18th May in Taurus, again, touches upon your finances and any plans you make now to increase your bank balance bear their fruits over the coming months. This new Moon happens every year only that this time around you have Mars giving you some extra energy and drive while Saturn at the other end of the spectrum makes you a little conservative. This is not a bad thing, it means you keep expectations in perspective and remain realistic – you are certainly not a risk taker now who invests in speculative ventures.

Of course the other area in life where this is a helpful aspect is romance. Romance is serious business these days, with some challenges or, at worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) with fewer opportunities than you may be used to. Saturn at the moment want you to stay clear of people that are inappropriate and don’t keep their promises, while Jupiter wants you to remain optimistic and outgoing. This month is great for combining the two and making mix with people that have your best interests at heart. You may have to kiss a few frogs but ultimately, you’ll understand why. Have a great month, Cancer!

May 2015 horoscope - Leo

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th August to 15th September or Leo Ascendants and Moons

Leo, Saturn, the taskmaster at the bottom of you chart has been causing you to redefine your foundations, strip away unnecessary and outworn emotions and behaviour patterns, he made you stop and go within, identifying the source of either discomfort, unhappiness or he simply pushed you on a path or realisation. What are your emotional needs and why are they not being met and how can you make sure they are met. Externally, this means that other people, your partner and those in authority have – seemingly – put some obstacles in your way and provided you with some challenging situations that once again led you to query the foundations of your life and their stability. This month, you’re ready to turn things on their head as you slowly begin to focus on what you want to achieve again and where you and your life are heading. This is a much more outgoing and busy period than during the past few months.

The full Moon on 4th May in Libra is in the area of your chart to do with communication, planning, strategy and team meetings. Whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on. For some of you, this is related to a teaching contract, an education degree or legal matters. Communication plays a big part in all of this now, so expect some news to come your way, if that is what you are waiting for.

For you, finances, for sure, are something to deal with these days which also has something to do with you wanted to change your life from the bottom up. May 2015 is a month where you have the opportunity to at least make a start. Around the 18th May, with the new Moon in Taurus and in the area of your chart to do with career, life direction and vocation, you’ll begin to branch out and expand your reach. If you have been holding yourself back or allowed a partner to hold you back, this is the beginning of your breakthrough time. It really is a month, where you can press the reset button and put things in motion for a career change, job change and to finally face relationship troubles and challenges head on. Have a great month, Leo!

May 2015 horoscope - Virgo

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th September to 15th October or Virgo Ascendants and Moons

Virgo, I’d be surprised if you didn’t go on a holiday this month, or at least make plans to do so. Once you’ve considered your financial situation, checked your savings account and counted your pennies around the time of the full Moon on 4th May, you’ll be off. This is a time when, whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – in terms of your finances, possessions and values.

The new Moon on 18th May is in Taurus and is then the time for you to hop on a plane, visit faraway places and hopefully take some time out. The past three months have been a whirlwind for you and your relationships, now it’s time to take a breather….and that’d be the best possible option for you. The alternative is a big focus on teaching, education, learning and really focusing your mind on the task at hand. So mentally, this can be bit of a draining period for you – you’ll have to stay sharp and if education or teaching is what you do, you have to put in a few late nights to get through the work load. That’s one option. Another alternative is around legal matters and marriage – while I’d like to say that it seems as though a lot of you (generally) are tying the knot, it’s more likely that it could be the opposite. Relationships have not been a great source of stability for you as you redefine your own boundaries at the moment and if you have been in a long-term and committed relationship, this is a month where you may have to deal with legal matters to do with marriage (i.e. the end of it) and other partnership-type contracts. So again, you planning a holiday is probably the best possible option.

For those who are single, this is a nice time to generally, be seen and mingle. Jupiter, the planet of expansion and the one ruling your partnerships is still exalted in Cancer until July, so make the most if his generosity, putting you in touch with the right people at the right time – including someone special. Have a great month, Virgo!

May 2015 horoscope - Libra

I follow the Vedic calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th October to 15th November or Libra Ascendants and Moons

Wow, Libra, this is one of those months when relationships and partnership are the all-consuming focus of your life, including joint finances, intimacy and planning for a future together. For established couples, this energy is one where you will have to continue to work on establishing a solid bond – or re-establishing that if you were. You have had Saturn in your sign over the past two years as well as Rahu / the North node until the summer of last year. However, this means that the pressure on you to lead an authentic life is still present and if this has an impact on relationship and finances, then this is the time when, once again, you will be confronted with unfinished business. But for some of you, this is also the time to make amends and move forward together – or with more and firmer boundaries in place if you need to. Saving money and finding ways to manage your resources are big themes at the moment and with the current planetary energies, it seems as though at least one of you, most likely you, is earning a little less than you are used to, your outgoings are more than usual and you have to take financial responsibility for someone or something.

The full Moon on 4th May is in your own sign and not only is it time to make something public, it’s your personal new beginning. A new cycle for you that is in direct relation to your status, career and life direction. With finances so heavily accentuated this month, it could be time for a new job, a career change that’s been coming for some time or equally possible, it could be that a joint venture with someone else is taking off. Whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on.

The new Moon on 18th May is in Taurus and in the area of your chart to do with – again, money, joint finances, secrets, inheritance and wills. You most certainly will have to deal with other people’s money then, family resources, and your own finances to build a solid future for yourself.

Needless to say that this month is certainly a better one if you are not of the age when inheritance and wills are things that weigh heavily on your shoulder and if you are single – and looking. ‘Intense’ experiences are on the cards and if you are willing and available, this could be a month when you begin to set the foundations of your future together in stone. Have a great month, Libra!

May 2015 horoscope - Scorpio

I follow the sidereal/Vedic calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th November to 15th December or Scorpio Ascendants and Moons

Scorpio, with Saturn in your sign, you’ve weeding out and sorting through your life, shedding some pounds, either physically or metaphorically. This has helped you return to yourself or help you become who you want to be and need to be to move forward. This process has also had an impact on your relationships which are one important area of focus this month. But before, then, the full Moon on 4th May in the area of your chart to do with letting go and reviewing the past year ensure you are ready for something new, either a new relationship if you are single, or deal with relationship matters as they come along. Whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – for some Scorpios, this period and the time until the end of May can be a revealing time when it comes to partnerships as you discover new and unknown sides to your partner with an opportunity to deal with conflict and even some secretive behaviour on their side or yours.

Although this nakshatra certainly has a financial element to it, it also has to do with long-distance education, travelling and potentially, a partner who’s at a distance – again, some aspect, idea, philosophy or even opportunity here needs to be let go of or completed. Something that has been happening behind the scenes is revealed now too.

Then, the new Moon on 18th May is in Taurus and in the area of your chart to do with committed relationships, agreements, contracts and those you operate on a one-to-one basis with. Saturn has imposed a strict code of behaviour onto you and while your expectations when it comes to relationships are realistic, make sure they aren’t less than that, meaning don’t underestimate your value in relationship through pessimistic thinking, ideas and expectations. There clearly are a few things to be discussed in partnerships and with Mercury retrograde until mid-June, you may have to cover old ground. Remember, you have Saturn, the taskmaster in your sign, there simply is no shying away from the truth any longer and from making it clear to others what no longer serves you. During this period, some Scorpios are planning to or are going on a trip with your partner and this may actually be a great idea to escape some of the confrontation or opposition some of you are facing now. Great time, if you are single, love could be sitting next to you on the plane. Have a great month, Scorpio!

May 2015 horoscope - Sagittarius

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16th December to 14th January or Sagittarius Ascendants and Moons

Sag, you’ll be so pleased to hear that although your life direction and career remain the main focus for you, for the time being, the pressure between what you want and who you have been transforming into as well as what’s going on at home, your inner life, the foundations of your chart and quite literally your house are now easing. You have gotten to the bottom of something, you have been unwilling to turn a blind eye any longer and you’re dealing with it now. This could have to do with secrets, something that’s been in the shadow for some, family money, inheritance, wills, tax and insurance matters and your deep, inner psychological workings which have come under the spotlight. The truth is what you’re after, now that Pluto in your sign is leaving its tight square to Uranus, the planet of sudden transformation at the bottom of your chart – you’re willing to but all the cards on the table. Make sure, you don’t keep one up your sleeve.

The full Moon on 4th May in Libra, is in the area of your chart to do with your hopes, dreams, wishes as well as money. Whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – likely to do with (joint) finances and aspirations for the future. For others, this has to do with friends and groups you are involved in where something is revealed and broadcast to the world.

This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Swati, ruled by Rahu. Swati is the ‘Great Breath’ and the wind. It’s related to thoughts and ideas, flexible thought processes and getting the word out. If you have something to say, do it now.  In particular when it comes to (joint) finances, where you seem to display considerable ambitions now, usually of the ‘having it all’ variety. For you, your finances are in flux, perhaps you’re having to pay out some money, while others could be receiving an inheritance or other family money that’s been coming your way for some time.

Then, the new Moon on 18th May is in Taurus and in the area of your chart to do with health, balance, or imbalance, wellbeing, stress, work load and conflict – it’s a new cycle affecting your balance or drawing your attention to what needs to be put right again, whether this is at work or in your relationships. Although a few planets move through this area in your chart once a year, this year, you are not allowed to duck away from what needs to be dealt with and neither do you want to.

For those who are single and looking, the first half of May and the latter half of June are really a much better time to approach a relationship and have some fun with it. Have a great month, Sagittarius!

May 2015 horoscope - Capricorn

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 15th January to 12th February or Capricorn Ascendants and Moons

Capricorn, the past year saw your relationships transform and expand and hopefully ‘optimise’ in some way. In particular if you are single, the current period is one of hope, optimism and especially opportunity. May 2015 especially is a time of romance, fun and creativity. You are more willing to take risks – in love and marriage – and if you belief in the law of attraction, this month could see you meet someone special, fall in love and really get a little bit closer to making your dreams come true. The full Moon on 4th May is in the area of your chart to do with your life direction, reputation and status and has irrevocably to do with partnerships, agreements and deals to be signed. With so much happening in your love, relationship and marriage sectors, this could be a time when love come knocking on your door. So, whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on. If you are single, this means the process of understanding what you want and who you want comes to an end – you now know and you’ve understood. If you are coupled up, again, the process of your life being turned upside down through relationships and work is coming to an end and you are able to move forward together (or not – although a break is not really indicated).

For you, this is about any joint undertakings, relationship matters and contracts, if you have something to say, say it now or forever hold your peace – kind of thing…

Then, the new Moon on 18th May is in Taurus and in the area of your chart to do with children, creativity and risky undertakings, performance, love and romance – and for something longer-term rather than a little fling. You’ve got high hopes these days for your future and while achieving your goals is currently a somewhat arduous affair, the planetary configurations are firmly on your side. Stick with it, even if some old faces, hopes and dreams need to go, you’ll have someone by your side to support you, if not already, then soon. Have a great month, Capricorn!

May 2015 horoscope - Aquarius

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 13th February to 14th March or Aquarius Ascendants and Moons

Aquarius, in a few years’ time, you’ll look back at the current period to realise how important it was for your development, turning your creative ideas into something usable, concrete and something that can be part of your life in the long-term and not just as a fleeting fantasy. Before then, much of what you’ve know and appreciated either has to go completely or be unearthed from the bottom up and transformed. It’s likely that you already know what that is – your career, life direction or simply your life as you know it, for some of you even with a move abroad or a career change that sees you working more internationally.

May 2015 is a busy month for contract negotiations, signing paper work of all kind, potentially with a legal party or a mediator involved. The full Moon on 4th May is in the area of your chart to do with legal matters, marriage and communication, so whatever began in November 2013 is revealed and dealt with head on. For some of you, it may all be less serious and dramatic, after all, this period is also about learning, education, travelling and making new experiences in general. If you started a higher education or further training course as part of your career change, this is the time, basically, write or start writing your final chapter.

Although the pressure on your income is slowly, slowly easing, you’ll still have some of the paperwork to get through and this looks to be the time to do it.

As the month goes on, the planets gather in the area of your chart to with your home and your emotions. For you, your home life should be stable and harmonic, however, with all the changes you are making or are having to make in your public life, sorting things out around the house could be a tricky undertaking. Saturn ensures things are done properly and that you are not allowed to skip the essentials. Look at it this way, better an end to any agony now than never - the new Moon on 18th May in Taurus is a time to de-clutter your home, as well as your emotional life. Have a great month, Aquarius!

May 2015 horoscope - Pisces

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 15th March to 13th April or Pisces Ascendants and Moons

Pisces, the pressure on relationships and yourself is easing but for a little while longer you’ll have to sort out the kind of things Pisceans don’t really want to know about – money, possessions and joint income. The full Moon on 4th May in the area of your chart to do with joint resources, finances and all things that go on behind closed doors is a time when exactly that will come to light. In all likelihood, this has to do with children, mortgages and family money that needs to be put in order, while for others this can be a joining of forces as you put what you have together to build something bigger and better.

This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Swati, ruled by Rahu. Swati is the ‘Great Breath’ and the wind. It’s related to thoughts and ideas, flexible thought processes and getting the word out. If you have something to say, do it now.  In particular, when it comes to (joint) finances where you seem to display considerable ambitions now - usually of the ‘having it all’ variety, especially in your chart.

As the month goes on your focus moves away from finances and onto the things that you, especially as a Piscean, have more of an affinity for. It’s about creativity, hobbies, learning something new and going on a trip. The new Moon on 18th May is in Taurus and in this area of your chart is an opportunity to start a new course, communicate something important to you and make your holiday plans, launch your creative projects or get through that mountain of paperwork. The downsides are that Saturn is may be opposing your plans, putting some obstacles in your way – but only for you to take a closer look at what you’re doing -, making sure you stick to what’s necessary and, most importantly, not go overboard with plans, promises and everything you want to accomplish.

For those who are single, this is actually a time when you really opening up again to the possibility to meeting someone. You’re active, outgoing and you’ve put the last months of stress and pressure behind you. Have a great month, Pisces!

18.4.15

Pressing on - Aries new moon

The new Moon in Aries today together with Mars and Mercury is a time to take action and implement plans we've been working on over the past weeks. It's a time to walk away or leave behind the confusion that was so present and explosive throughout March when we had the eclipse in Pisces. It's time to move forward with intention and leave behind what needs to be left behind - as long as you have figured out what that it, otherwise the Aries energy can be a little frustrating to say the least.

If you are an Aries Sun, Moon or Ascendant, here's what your 2015/2016 solar year has in store for you.

13.4.15

Annual horoscope 2015 / 2016 - Aries

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the April 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 14th April to 15th May or Aries Ascendants or Moons

Happy birthday, Aries! You start your new solar year 2015 / 2016 with Mars in your sign – worth mentioning in your case I believe as after a couple of years of relationship issues coupled with deep inner and psychological changes, you are likely not holding back anymore and what has been on your mind lately or longer comes out with full force and unfiltered. Good if you are in a position where others look to you to voice your opinion not so good when it’s a partner you lash out on uninhibited and quite suddenly. In any case, this kind of sets the tone for the new solar year as you still  determine to what extent you want to share your resources, commit to another with everything that you have and more, contemplating and debating over shared finances, mortgages and tax, insurance and inheritance - a somewhat slow and difficult ‘birth’ of some sort. Either literally or metaphorically.

Then, Jupiter in the area of your chart to do with house and home has expanded your foundations, has given you new confidence and a solid self-esteem – very necessary after Saturn in opposition only a year ago. Jupiter is not quite done with you yet and if you want to move home, early summer looks promising. Equally, if you want to (continue) with your refurbishment projects, then until the summer, Jupiter makes sure you don’t throw in the towel. Feeling comfortable at home is hugely important to you now and if you’ve been planning changes, expansions or even a move abroad for some of you in this area, don’t hesitate, you’ve got planetary support. And then it gets exciting again!!

Jupiter moves into your 5th house of romance and true love, children and creativity in July 2015 and Rahu / the North node follows a few months later, in January 2016. Both Jupiter and Rahu are planets that expand whatever they touch, so expect and extra dose of confidence, creativity and plenty of charisma at your disposal. This certainly seems to be a time to fall in love and have fun – what greater and almost logical thing to see happening after the harsh Saturn lessons of the past three years. One word of caution – stay away from clandestine romantic relationships as you have the propensity to tempt fate or ‘spoil’ the positive side of this transit which is all about creative expansion and self-confidence. No need to enter a secret affair. At best, this plays out as a long-distance relationship with someone in another country.

At the same time, Rahu in this area of your chart promises the biggest learning and yearning and focus for the next 18 months. Together with Jupiter, you become the radiant centre of public attention, you’re applauded for your creativity, your literary master pieces if you are so inclined and your determination to have a good time. Along the way, you’ll be meeting some quite influential people and, hopefully, for those who are single, your one true love. Ideally, this should also be someone who gives you a good deal of space and personal freedom – as an Aries, you need that anyway. But heaven forbid someone should restrict or limit you in any way, Uranus in your sign from mid-2016 gives you and those around you a taster of what this looks, feels and sounds like! Have a great year, Aries, it’ll be an exciting one!
